Several countries reaffirmed their commitment to support the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in its efforts in that regard.

The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) recognized that the protection and promotion of those rights began at home and therefore the institution of the family should be strengthened at the national and international levels.

Comment by the Administration. The IMIS Support Unit of the Office of Programme Planning, Budget and Accounts together with the Accounts Division and its Systems Support Section, continues to seek further ways of streamlining and automating the consolidation process.

The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, through its inter agency Internal Displacement Division, also continued its efforts to support the effective implementation of a collaborative response.
