The Advisory Committee welcomes the progress achieved by the Secretariat in financial reporting.

In its conclusion 1987 19, paragraph (j), the Programme and Budget Committee requested the Director General to submit each year to the Industrial Development Board through the Committee a clear and detailed financial performance report itemizing the utilization of financial resources.

In the UK, a Financial Policy Committee within the Bank of England is to monitor the systemic risk of financial failure, with a Prudential Regulatory Authority supervising systemically important institutions.

The committee would consist of five or seven extremely well qualified individuals who have recent and relevant financial experience.

The Financial Supervision Authority will ensure that, as soon as the Committee established by paragraph 14 of the resolution has drawn up the list of designated persons, all funds, other financial assets and economic resources belonging to the designated persons discovered by the Estonian financial institutions will be frozen.
