(a) Welcomes the PARinAc initiative and, in particular, the Oslo Declaration and Plan of Action adopted at the Global Conference in June 1994

CPF members are working to broaden understanding of criteria and indicators and to encourage their use as a monitoring and reporting tool in national forest programmes and other frameworks, such as those relating to biodiversity.
