Women had been appointed to cabinet level positions in the Government and occupied more and more leadership positions, especially in municipal authorities.

4.8 In other areas, discrimination continues to exist in decision making positions as seen by the small number of women holding senior positions in Government.

Use of a soft quota system in competitions for filling positions (mandatory numbers of men and women as candidates for positions).

The right to remuneration is made in function of the amount and quality of work done, and competition for access to high ranking positions is in function of academic qualifications, experience, resulted obtained in previous work, employers' needs and the needs of the national economy.
