3. Calls upon the host country to extend the usual courtesies to participants of all parliamentary delegations of States Members of the United Nations at the second World Conference of Speakers of Parliament

Many conference participants agreed that the study of economics should be set in a broader political context, with greater emphasis on the role of institutions.

Naturally, the conference was well blogged, not only on the official Arab Bloggers blog, but also by many participants.

Although many of the participants recognize the urgency, the actions of many of them suggest that a business as usual approach will suffice. But it will not.

The above mentioned resolution, in its operative paragraph 3, calls upon the host country to extend the usual courtesies to participants of all parliamentary delegations of States Members of the United Nations at the second World Conference of Speakers of Parliament.

In yet other systems, such as France, participants are informed of the level of offers of the other participants.

The Conference forcefully demonstrated that the tragedy in the Indian Ocean region had strengthened the determination of participants to reach tangible conclusions and to agree on a clearly defined action plan against which commitments and achievements could be measured in the future.

Fortunately, the various Conference participants reached out in order to draw, from among the lofty principles vouchsafed in the revealed religions, the principle of desiring to instil a spirit of love, appreciation, reverence and piety in the souls of the members of each generation towards their parents and older persons.

Here I wish to call to your attention the importance of the participation of over one hundred representatives from the 17 armed groups in the National Convention process and that, in addition to these representatives, out of a total number of 1,086 delegates in the National Convention, 633 are from the ethnic national groups.
