| For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them | وذهبوا وعبدوا آلهة اخرى وسجدوا لها. آلهة لم يعرفوها ولا قسمت لهم. |

And whom Allah sends astray , for him there will be no guide . | أليس الله بكاف عبده محمد ا وعيد المشركين وكيدهم من أن ينالوه بسوء بلى إنه سيكفيه في أمر دينه ودنياه ، ويدفع عنه م ن أراده بسوء ، ويخو فونك أيها الرسول بآلهتهم التي زعموا أنها ستؤذيك . ومن يخذله الله فيضله عن طريق الحق ، فما له م ن هاد يهديه إليه . |
| They sacrificed unto devils, not to God to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. | ذبحوا لاوثان ليست الله. لآلهة لم يعرفوها احداث قد جاءت من قريب لم يرهبها آباؤكم. |

| they will be asked , Where are those whom you worshipped | وقيل لهم توبيخ ا أين آلهتكم التي كنتم تعبدونها م ن دون الله ، وتزعمون أنها تشفع لكم اليوم هل ينصرونكم ، فيدفعون العذاب عنكم ، أو ينتصرون بدفع العذاب عن أنفسهم لا شيء من ذلك . |
