( O Prophet ) , tell them If you run away from death or slaying , this flight will not avail you . You will have little time after that to enjoy ( the pleasures of life ) .	قل أيها النبي لهؤلاء المنافقين لن ينفعكم الفرار من المعركة خوف ا من الموت أو القتل فإن ذلك لا يؤخر آجالكم ، وإن فررتم فلن تتمتعوا في هذه الدنيا إلا بقدر أعماركم المحدودة ، وهو زمن يسير جد ا بالنسبة إلى الآخرة .
On that Day , you shall be questioned about the pleasures .	ثم لتسأل ن حذف منه نون الرفع لتوالي النونات وواو ضمير الجمع لالتقاء الساكنين يومئذ يوم رؤيتها عن النعيم ما يلتذ به في الدنيا من الصحة والفراغ والأمن والمطعم والمشرب وغير ذلك .
On that Day , you shall be questioned about the pleasures .	ما هكذا ينبغي أن يلهيكم التكاثر بالأموال ، لو تعلمون حق العلم لانزجرتم ، ولبادرتم إلى إنقاذ أنفسكم من الهلاك . لتبصر ن الجحيم ، ثم لتبصر ن ها دون ريب ، ثم لتسأل ن يوم القيامة عن كل أنواع النعيم .
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.	والذي سقط بين الشوك هم الذين يسمعون ثم يذهبون فيختنقون من هموم الحياة وغناها ولذ اتها ولا ينضجون ثمرا.
Allah shall admit those who believe and do righteous works to the Gardens beneath which rivers flow . As for the unbelievers , they enjoy the pleasures of this transient life and eat as cattle eat .	إن الله يدخل الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار والذين كفروا يتمتعون في الدنيا ويأكلون كما تأكل الأنعام أي ليس لهم ه م إلا بطونهم وفروجهم ولا يلتفتون إلى الآخرة والنار مثوى لهم منزل ومقام ومصير .

Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures .	ثم لتسأل ن حذف منه نون الرفع لتوالي النونات وواو ضمير الجمع لالتقاء الساكنين يومئذ يوم رؤيتها عن النعيم ما يلتذ به في الدنيا من الصحة والفراغ والأمن والمطعم والمشرب وغير ذلك .
Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures .	ما هكذا ينبغي أن يلهيكم التكاثر بالأموال ، لو تعلمون حق العلم لانزجرتم ، ولبادرتم إلى إنقاذ أنفسكم من الهلاك . لتبصر ن الجحيم ، ثم لتبصر ن ها دون ريب ، ثم لتسأل ن يوم القيامة عن كل أنواع النعيم .
That which fell among the thorns, these are those who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.	والذي سقط بين الشوك هم الذين يسمعون ثم يذهبون فيختنقون من هموم الحياة وغناها ولذ اتها ولا ينضجون ثمرا.

O my Lord , he said , since You have led me into error I 'll beguile them with the pleasures of the world and lead them astray ,	قال رب بما أغويتني أي بإغوائك لي والباء للقسم وجوابه لأزي ن ن لهم في الأرض المعاصي ولأغوينهم أجمعين ,

And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire it will be said , You exhausted your pleasures during your worldly life and enjoyed them , so this Day you will be awarded the punishment of extreme humiliation because you were arrogant upon the earth without right and because you were defiantly disobedient .	ويوم يعرض الذين كفروا على النار للعذاب ، فيقال لهم توبيخ ا لقد أذهبتم طيباتكم في حياتكم الدنيا واستمتعتم بها ، فاليوم أيها الكفار ت ج ز ون عذاب الخزي والهوان في النار بما كنتم تتكبرون في الأرض بغير الحق ، وبما كنتم تخرجون عن طاعة الله .
For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.	لاننا كنا نحن ايضا قبلا اغبياء غير طائعين ضالين مستعبدين لشهوات ولذ ات مختلفة عائشين في الخبث والحسد ممقوتين مبغضين بعضنا بعضا.

And we learn, of course, many, many pleasures, but many of them are base. And Allah wills to incline towards you with His mercy and those who pursue their own pleasures wish that you be far separated from the Straight Path .	والله يريد أن يتوب عليكم كرره ليبنى عليه ويريد الذين يتبعون الشهوات اليهود والنصارى أو المجوس أو الزناة أن تميلوا ميلا عظيما تعدلوا عن الحق بارتكاب ما ح رم عليكم فتكونوا مثلهم .
