Having considered the Final Communique of the Fourth Islamic Conference of Cultural Ministers (ICCM) held in Algiers, Algeria, 15 16 December, 2004

The Haifa Arab National Committee (NC) in communique number 7, 22 February, demanded of the Palestinian Arab inhabitants that they cease all shooting and return to regular work.

Among the priority areas, HIV AIDS is no longer treated as just a health issue, but as a most serious socio economic development issue.

Taking into consideration the above arguments, the General Secretariat for Gender Equality regards the issue of gender equality not as a women's issue but as an issue that is important to and concerns society as a whole.
