Related materials are controlled by Council Regulation (EC) No 1334 2000 setting up a Community regime for the control of exports of dual use items and technology concerning the export.

The Agency is currently preparing a new list of items subject to export controls, together with procedures for the export and use of such items.

Under the Import Export schedule these fall under restricted items.

For dual use items there is one Community general export authorization and national export authorizations general, global and individual licenses.

They must ban the import and export of controlled substances from and to non parties.

It has been amended by Council Regulation (EC) No 1504 2004, containing an updated list of controlled items.

Export licences are required if the items exported or transferred are for a relevant use in WMD.

Parties must report statistical data on their production, import, and export of controlled substances, both annually and for certain base years.

The definition of export under this Act must involve the physical crossing of Australia's national borders by the prescribed tangible items.

In all the above cases, re exported items are treated in the same manner as those export goods originating in the UK.

Controls include measures to secure and protect such items, export and border controls, law enforcement efforts, and the development and improvement of appropriate legislation and administrative provisions.

Some two thirds of Iranian industry, most of it state controlled, relies on German engineering exports, 65 of which in 2005 came with export credit insurance guarantees from the German government.

In conformity with the legislation in force, data concerning persons brokering transactions involving firearms are entered into the licence for the export of controlled goods, i.e. dual use goods and technologies in conformity with Council (EC) Regulation No.

A successful export strategy hinges not on how much countries export, but on what they export and how their export sectors are integrated with other domestic economic activities.
