But not those who themselves believe and work righteous works , and enjoin upon each other the truth , and enjoin upon each other endurance .	إلا الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات فليسوا في خسران وتواصوا أوصى بعضهم بعضا بالحق الإيمان وتواصوا بالصبر على الطاعة وعن المعصية .
But not those who themselves believe and work righteous works , and enjoin upon each other the truth , and enjoin upon each other endurance .	إلا الذين آمنوا بالله وعملوا عملا صالح ا ، وأوصى بعضهم بعض ا بالاستمساك بالحق ، والعمل بطاعة الله ، والصبر على ذلك .

And those upon whom they call beside Allahls have not created aught , and are themselves created .	والذين تدعون بالتاء والياء تعبدون من دون الله وهم الأصنام لا يخلقون شيئا وهم ي خلقون يصورون من الحجارة وغيرها .
Whoever disbelieves , upon him falls his disbelief . And whoever acts righteously they are preparing for themselves .	من كفر فعليه كفره وبال كفره وهو النار ومن عمل صالحا فلأنفسهم يمهدون يوطئون منازلهم في الجنة .
They bear upon themselves the fear of their Lord , and do only what they are commanded .	يخاف الملائكة ربهم الذي هو فوقهم بالذات والقهر وكمال الصفات ، ويفعلون ما ي ؤ مرون به من طاعة الله . وفي الآية إثبات صفة العلو والفوقية لله على جميع خلقه ، كما يليق بجلاله وكماله .
And those upon whom they call beside Allahls have not created aught , and are themselves created .	والآلهة التي يعبدها المشركون لا تخلق شيئ ا وإن ص غ ر ، فهي مخلوقات صنعها الكفار بأيديهم ، فكيف يعبدونها
Whoever disbelieves , upon him falls his disbelief . And whoever acts righteously they are preparing for themselves .	من كفر فعليه عقوبة كفره ، وهي خلوده في النار ، ومن آمن وعمل صالح ا فلأنفسهم يهيئون منازل الجنة بسبب تمسكهم بطاعة ربهم .
They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.	ويتنطقون بالمسح ويغشاهم رعب وعلى جميع الوجوه خزي وعلى جميع رؤوسهم قرع.

That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall	المضطجعون على اسر ة من العاج والمتمددون على فرشهم والآكلون خرافا من الغنم وعجولا من وسط الصيرة
For what you have brought upon yourselves . God is surely not unjust to His creatures , ( they are unjust to themselves ) .	ذلك التعذيب بما قد مت أيديكم عب ر بها دون غيرها لأن أكثر الأفعال تزاول بها وأن الله ليس بظلام أي بذي ظلم للعبيد فيعذ بهم بغير ذنب .
Upon the day when the leg shall be bared , and they shall be summoned to bow themselves , but they cannot	اذكر يوم يكشف عن ساق هو عبارة عن شدة الأمر يوم القيامة للحساب والجزاء ، يقال كشفت الحرب عن ساق إذا اشتد الأمر فيها ويدعو ن إلى السجود امتحانا لإيمانهم فلا يستطيعون تصير ظهورهم طبقا واحدا .
For what you have brought upon yourselves . God is surely not unjust to His creatures , ( they are unjust to themselves ) .	ذلك الجزاء الذي أصاب المشركين فبسبب أعمالهم السيئة في حياتهم الدنيا ، ولا يظلم الله أحد ا من خ ل قه مثقال ذرة ، بل هو الح ك م العدل الذي لا يجور .
And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.	وليتقدس ايضا الكهنة الذين يقتربون الى الرب لئلا يبطش بهم الرب.
Why did they not bring four witnesses upon it ? Since they did not bring witnesses , they themselves are liars before Allah .	لولا هلا جاء وا أي العصبة عليه بأربعة شهداء شاهدوه فإذا لم يأتوا بالشهداء فأولئك عند الله أي في حكمه هم الكاذبون فيه .
Those who cause hurt to believing men and to believing women have invited upon themselves a calumny and a manifest sin .	والذين يؤذون المؤمنين والمؤمنات بغير ما اكتسبوا يرمونهم بغير ما عملوا فقد احتملوا بهتانا تحملوا كذبا وإثما مبينا بي نا .
God does not withdraw a favour bestowed upon a people unless they change themselves , for God hears all and knows everything .	ذلك الجزاء السي ئ بأن الله إذا أنعم على قوم نعمة لم يسلبها منهم حتى يغي روا حالهم الطيبة إلى حال سيئة ، وأن الله سميع لأقوال خلقه ، عليم بأحوالهم ، فيجري عليهم ما اقتضاه علمه ومشيئته .
Why did they not bring four witnesses upon it ? Since they did not bring witnesses , they themselves are liars before Allah .	هلا أتى القاذفون بأربعة شهود عدول على قولهم ، فحين لم يفعلوا ذلك فأولئك هم الكاذبون عند الله .
