13.9 The Division for Operations is responsible for the subprogramme.

In addition, the Division is responsible for the management of commercial related activities at Headquarters and the coordination of special events and the mail and pouch operations.

23.58 This subprogramme is under the responsibility of the Capacity Building and Field Operations Branch of the Operations, Programmes and Research Division.

28B.22 The Peacekeeping Financing Division is responsible for financial services relating to peacekeeping operations.

In paragraph 170 of its report, the Board recommended that UNICEF further (a) clarify its policy regarding family duty stations included in the special operations approach and (b) document and monitor decisions on special operations living allowances areas and rates.
