The meetings of the High level Plenary Meeting will be held according to the following schedule

The Secretariat understands that Parties are concerned that the increasing schedule of meetings under multilateral environmental agreements affects the timing of Montreal Protocol meetings.

The present document contains a programme of work and schedule of plenary meetings of the General Assembly.

It was understood that that programme would not preclude the holding of any ad hoc meetings that might be warranted and that the Special Committee might, in early 2006, review the schedule of meetings on the basis of any new developments.

At the first Executive Board meeting of each calendar year, the Chair shall propose for the approval of the Board a schedule of meetings for that calendar year.

From Monday to Saturday, the proposed daily schedule for plenary meetings will be two three hour sessions per day (10 00 13 00 and 15 00 18 00).

Work schedule the yearly schedule of work consists of three terms of 13 weeks each.

This may seem little more than an annoyance, but it has a key implication when there is no regular schedule for board meetings, many independent directors (especially foreigners) often cannot attend.

The COP MOP will be invited to agree upon the organization of the work of the session, including the proposed schedule of meetings (see paragraphs 1 9 above, and annex I).

The schedule is summarized below

Bearing in mind that, in accordance with Economic and Social Council resolution 1999 65, the maximum number of meeting days allocated to the Committee and its subsidiary bodies is 38 (76 meetings), the Committee agreed that the schedule of meetings for the period 2005 2006 should be as follows
