Pre employment Medical Examination Complaints Committee

The Pre employment Medical Examination Complaints Committee was set up in 2002, pursuant to the Medical Examinations Act.

A distinction must be made between the complainant's medical condition at the time of the second interview and his physical and mental condition as reported in the subsequent medical certificates provided to the national authorities and the Committee.

The estimate also provides for medical evacuation, hospitalization and specialized medical services, vaccines, prophylactic condoms and other medical supplies.

Among these services are personal preventive medicine, health education, medical diagnosis, ambulatory medical care, mental care, hospitalization, medical rehabilitation, medicine supply, medical devices and accessories, and first aid medicine.

8.5 With regard to the complainant's allegations of torture, the Committee considers that while the other medical certificates submitted in this case do not clearly support the complainant's version, the medical report from Sweden submitted in March 2004 does support Mr.

Recent data indicates that none of the complaints submitted regarding medical treatment and medical para medical personnel is related to discrimination against women.

More trained medical and non medical personnel are needed to run these facilities.
