The National People's Congress (NPC) The Food Hygiene Law of 1995, passed by the NPC, amended the 1982 Food Hygiene Law and regulates most aspects of food safety.

National Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety The National Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety (NINFS) is a research agency for nutrition and food hygiene.
