الضمير المتصل 'ـه' يعني 'هو' أو 'ـه' (للمذكر). عندما يسبقه حرف الجر 'من'، يصبح 'منه'. إذا كان يشير إلى اسم مؤنث أو شخص مؤنث، يصبح 'منها'.

أَخَذْتُ كِتَابًا مِنْهُ.

ʾakhadhtu kitāban minhu.

I took a book from him.
