The programme is promoting the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) to make enterprises, in particular SMEs, better fit for the e economy and increase their competitiveness.

23.73 Programme support services are provided by the Administration and Management Service.

Victim assistance must therefore be broad in scope, involve the victims themselves in the process, and include both general health services and the reintegration of people with disabilities into active life, while offering support to their communities.

Since these reforms most of the 'garrison' support services at military bases have been provided by private firms.

In March 2004, the Government and UNDP had launched an anti trafficking programme offering capacity building support and victim assistance, providing important backing for the national efforts against trafficking.

The goal should be to foster private sector investment to provide efficient logistics services.

Eighty percent of the population of Saskatchewan has access to Victims Services through 17 funded programs that work in cooperation with the police.

Building on its long history of supply support, both within country programmes and increasingly as procurement services support, UNICEF will offer a mix of programme and procurement services to Governments as a unified basket of support.

Before delivering any service to the rural women, the RSPs organize them into Women Community Organizations.

The Division of Court Services has developed the necessary structures to guarantee organizational support for courtroom hearings the receipt, recording and distribution of information and translation and interpretation services for the whole Court.

UNICEF is playing an important role in supporting the design and scaling up of voluntary confidential counselling and testing services.

A site called Haiti Earthquake Support Center is working on a tool which would allow volunteers to help match faces in news photographs to faces of missing persons.

Collaboration between the police and victim support is a step in the right direction, but tackling domestic violence will require a broader, integrated approach.

That action was intended to support their mine action activities including mine clearance, victim assistance and mine awareness training and education.

(c) End user support on the effective use of computers through help desk services and training of staff

The Registry has strengthened the Court's public information capacity in order to support the implementation of outreach services in the countries where the Court is active.

They also provide other support services, such as referrals, crisis counselling, group awareness raising, community education and the production of publications and resources.

(d) Supporting targeted investments in infrastructure that would establish the physical foundation for the operation of Internet services and pave the way for commercial and development applications
