With regard to the protection of potential terrorist targets

The project will focus on research aimed at assisting high level decision making on road safety priorities identifying the progress required to meet national targets analysing the funding of road safety measures and describing issues concerning resource allocation.

Increased MICA put on the agenda issues regarding the coordination of such assistance with overall mission objectives and the enhancement of its effectiveness and efficiency, which the present report addresses in four subject areas.

Measures must also be taken to halt the disturbing decline in fauna and flora at all levels in order to progress towards the 2010 targets under the Convention on Biological Diversity, and to provide all necessary assistance for that purpose to the developing countries.

Fourthly, the international financial institutions must help affected countries to meet targets and achieve the development goals laid down in the Millennium Declaration.

Regional commissions have also been providing support to national capacity building in monitoring and reporting on the Goals through workshops and tools such as an Arabic version of the UNDG handbook Indicators for Monitoring the Millennium Development Goals .

The challenge today is to unite these goals in a mutually reinforcing way.

The Court is developing a five year strategic plan that will define strategic goals for the Court and a strategy for achieving those goals.
