In 2004, the Human Resources Management Service dispatched experts to field offices to provide training and support, as well as to listen to staff concerns, in the interest of integrating headquarters' and field perspectives.

The training will include information on UNIDO technical cooperation and service delivery, the service modules and thematic clusters, management of programmes and projects, and the general administrative procedures governing the actions in the field.
