It would be excellent if the general public responded to an appeal for funds for mitigating future damage.

Fund raising activities for non earmarked funds

For the first time, the 2005 appeal preparation benefited from a gender adviser, provided by UNIFEM, to mainstream gender issues in the annual appeal.
