In 1987, the Department was made a State Secretariat for Social Affairs and the Status of Women.

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs shall monitor the implementation of enforcement measures under articles 1 and 2.

Five have been charged with threatening the internal security of the State and two face charges of receiving foreign funding without notifying the General Secretariat of the government.

1. The credentials of representatives of each State Party and the names of the persons constituting the State Party's delegation shall be submitted to the secretariat if possible not later than twenty four hours in advance of the opening of the session.
