The EU has recently adopted a guide to best practices on implementation of financial restrictive measures which contains a number of recommendations.

The following sets out the text of the provisional rules of procedure adopted by the Fourth United Nations Conference to Review All Aspects of the Set of Multilaterally Agreed Equitable Principles and Rules for the Control of Restrictive Business Practices with some minor amendments.

The message is clear water risk management is shifting into the mainstream of business practices.

The main barrier is not so much the technology but the adoption of e business practices in operations.

Sharing of best practices is one of the aims of UNCTAD's business linkages programmes in Brazil and Uganda.

Such a review of remittances should look into restrictive practices that could be abolished, and ask whether official assistance should be adapted to the needs of this informal yet crucially important aid network.
