Fiji acclaims the proposal to create a Peacebuilding Commission.

The Southern Sudan Fund has similarly approved a 70 million initial project proposal for rule of law capacity building.

The Secretary General's proposal to establish a Peacebuilding Commission is an initial response to this question inasmuch as it provides an institutional framework to enable the various stakeholders to act together, target their activities and make them complementary.

In that context, we warmly welcome the proposal to establish a peacebuilding commission.

The initial funding proposal did not cover many of the activities now being envisaged to enhance the consultation and awareness raising process related to the study.

UNICEF has completed the initial assessment and is currently developing the detailed proposal for the introduction of enterprise risk management in conjunction with the organizational review.
