Now we all love to trot out these three mystic warriors as if they were born with the saint gene.

We're continuously trying to straddle different worlds, different cultures and trying to meet the challenges of a different expectation from ourselves and from others.

We're not trying to cut and paste the Chicago model or the India model, but creating a system uniquely tailored to Ethiopia's needs and realities, Ethiopia's small farmers.

It is important to note that the MDGs are very similar to the goals that we ourselves try to accomplish within our own economic strategy.

So what we're trying to do is, we're trying to push these technologies towards creating bottom up construction approaches for architecture, which contrast the current, Victorian, top down methods which impose structure upon matter.

So, up to this point we tried to fix it by using what I call shit against the wall pharmacology, which means, well, let's just throw chemicals at it, and maybe it's going to make it work.

So let's give this a try.

We make sense of the world, and of our place in it, culturally and science provides more information for constructing that place.

We try to cash in on it.

We need to try and find solutions.

It can change the way you communicate with others, it can change your body, it can change your mind. So, we're trying to go to the next step of how you build on top of something like Guitar Hero.

We must try and deal with that.

And we will actually try to get to the point where we have a predictive model where we can understand, when cancer happens, what's actually happening in there and which treatment will treat that cancer.

Here's this guy who got a 34 year head start thinking about the kinds of questions we as a country are grappling with, we as citizens are grappling with now. What do we take away?

We're not trying to teach anybody any specific thing.

And we're trying to tell them, It's not futile.

In Rwanda, we are trying to do our bit.

We are undefeated only because we have continued trying.

We're going to try an experiment in psychokinesis, right now.

One of the ways that we've come to think about this is that what we're trying to do with the Institute for Figuring and projects like this, we're trying to have kindergarten for grown ups.

Meanwhile, in California, we were trying to commercialize a lot of this stuff.

But the main reason is that we have not tried.

When we try to impose democracy, we tarnish it.

It would be a mistake to respond by trying to take globalization to the next level.

What's important about these is that we try to move from feeling helpless at the pump, to actually being active and to really sort of thinking about who we are, having kind of that special moment, where we connect the dots actually at the pump.

And we try to guess what they're doing from their behavior on the surface.

So we thought, okay, we're going to try to get out and get some slime.

Well, one way of trying is to see whether we could look at income distribution.

And Friday night we're trying to decide between risky sex or happiness.

Analytically, we are still picking through the wreckage of this experiment.

We have not accused anyone of apostasy, nor is our goal to cleanse the world.

So this system that was built for TED is here to illustrate that it is technically possible to actually deploy a system like this, and we're looking very hard at how to make it highly cost effective to use in places like Africa and other parts of the world.

And when we're now trying to see how we can change the situation, when basically we're trying to see what can be done about democracy, we should keep this ambiguity in mind.

We try to can it and package it and make it better and sell it to people.

AW I wanted to say that we have to try to know other people, the other.

That isn't what we usually try to teach six year olds.

So broken heartstrings bled the blues, and we tried to empty ourselves so we'd feel nothing.

Problems arise when we try to agree on a definition of happiness, and to measure it.
