Till date no specific reports have been received from the financial institutions on such matters.

It may wish to start with such matters as the terms of reference for the POPs review committee and guidance to the financial mechanism.

It has also indicated that its financial and technical needs would be determined upon successful resolution of those issues.

The two other posts are requested for the Claims Management Section to provide functions related to memorandums of understanding, contingent owned equipment and claims for reimbursement for MINUSTAH, ONUB and UNOCI (ibid., paras.

This group gets together every two months to discuss practical issues concerning the implementation of financial sanctions and to exchange experiences.

The Panel is conscious of the danger that this situation poses and asked to visit Nigeria to verify certain matters, including financial matters, within the framework of its mandate, but it has not received a reply from Nigeria.

It was a diplomatic term conveying the linkage between disparate policy areas (for example, in negotiating simultaneously on financial and security matters).

The contact group on legal and budget issues would meet as necessary throughout the week and would be expected to address remaining issues in the rules of procedure of the Conference of the Parties, the financial rules, the budget of the Secretariat and any other legal or administrative issues assigned to it.

A number of issues of common interest have been discussed at the meetings, including personnel and financial matters, relations with the private sector and the use of the United Nations name and emblem.

The Committee had reached agreement on a number of issues relating to the organization of the Conference, including the choice of President, the draft rules of procedure and the financial arrangements its recommendations were reflected in the report.

For example, the Division of Finance and Administrative Management (DFAM) had placed financial and administrative reference documentation on an easily searchable website, had incorporated financial issues into the basic programme process training and made training courses available over the Intranet.

Other important issues included Corporate Social Responsibility and a development oriented coherence between national development strategies and decisions emanating from international financial institutions.

We reaffirm the General Assembly's prerogatives and mandates to consider all administrative and budgetary matters, including its absolute authority to allocate and redistribute financial and human resources and to set the Organization's priorities.

But government has a central role to play in the debate over the creation of democracy one more important than its oversight of fiscal matters.
