The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda visited the Democratic Republic of the Congo recently to request its support for Rwanda's candidacy for the presidency of the African Development Bank.

The Government of the Republic of Rwanda has the honour to provide the following information about relations between Rwanda and Côte d'Ivoire and on measures that have been taken pursuant to Security Council resolution 1572 (2004)

The Rwandan Government therefore welcomes the transfer of 45 investigation files from the ICTR to Rwanda.

These same weapons fuelled the killings in Rwanda and in Bosnia a decade ago and are fuelling the conflicts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and in Darfur today.
