I would like to emphasize today what we have said in the past.

I would like to enumerate the threats and challenges we are facing today.

I have just a few comments to make on what the Council has heard today.

Today I would like to share my perspective on some of the main issues.

I would also like to deal with some of the arguments that were put forward yesterday and especially today.

I wish to quote the message he sent on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

I would like to give the floor to members of the Conference who have asked to address the plenary meeting today.

Today I would like to limit my remarks to a few general points that my Government considers of particular importance.

Sis today If I can be sold, I would, but I can't.

In my remarks today, I would like first to update the Assembly on where the Court stands, and secondly, to speak about the cooperative relationship between the Court and the United Nations.

I wish to welcome Mr. Covic, President of the Coordination Centre of Serbia and Montenegro and of the Republic of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija, to our meeting today.

I would like to emphasize two of the recommendations made at that round table that are of special interest vis à vis the discussions we have had today.

I wish to avail of the specific opportunity you have provided today to comment on the possible negotiation of a fissile material cut off treaty.

And I'd like to thank you all.

Let me first thank you, Mr. President, for having convened today's meeting, which is being held at the initiative of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries, which I should like to thank as well.

I would also like to thank the President of the Coordination Centre of Serbia and Montenegro and of the Republic of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija, Mr. Nebosja Cović, for his participation in today's meeting.

Today I would like to highlight developments related to each part of the Agency's mission namely, technology, safety and verification  and then to outline a few objectives for the future.

I express our gratitude to Under Secretary General Egeland and Mr. Jacques Forster, Vice President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, for their important briefings on the issue this morning.

I should now like to summarize them.

The Deputy Secretary General I am delighted to be here today for this meeting on a subject as inspiring as it is important, and I wish to extend a special welcome to all the young representatives who are with us today.

I should like to recall the major ones.

I would like to add a few additional comments.

I would like to make a few points in that regard.

I would like to introduce the following revisions to the draft resolution.

I would add another, clearly essential point.

I just wish to address some of the points I have heard.

I should like to make a statement in my capacity as representative of Brazil.

Let me cite just one specific example.

Let me first deal briefly with the security challenge.

I wish to conclude my statement by expressing a regret.

I would also like to thank Ambassador Oshima of Japan for his effort in drafting the presidential statement we will adopt later today and to welcome Ms. Kawaguchi.

I would like to express my gratitude for the report of the Secretary General that we have before us today, which contains UNMIK's second quarterly technical assessment of standards implementation in Kosovo.

This is a tangential issue in some ways today, but I do think it is very important indeed, and I am glad that it has been aired by our colleague, and I want to associate Australia with it.

I would like to share the voices of two groups of Australian young people.

I wish to thank the staff of the Commission for their excellent work.

Let me say a few words on some specific issues.

I would like to express my deep appreciation to all the sponsors.

Let me emphasize the responsibility of the international community as a whole.

Let me now say a word about settlement activity.

I would like to assure you of my delegation's full support.
