Those training programmes were confined to the main cities.

Funding is required for translation and reprints of sales publications, CD ROMs, planned publications and production of electronic statistical publications involving consultancy services, equipment and material for which provision in the regular budget is insufficient.

Outputs reflect deliverables and do not include non quantifiable results, such as those related to correct interpretation and application of legislative mandates, strategy planning or other quality related aspects for the successful conduct of the governing bodies.

Progress report on the principal programmes and projects

All of these programmes are presented in a thematic manner, and include services provided by several organizational units of UNIDO. The management costs of these major programmes have been allocated between them.

As indicated above, the costs of direction and management associated with these substantive major programmes have been allocated between them.

The office of the Director General and the office of the Comptroller General reviewed the submissions for ensuring overall consistency of the major programmes programmes and components with major policy documents, and ensuring compliance with the principles of RBM and RBB by reviewing outcomes, performance indicators and outputs.

This is the principal means by which low income households receive housing subsidies.

These Major Programmes are new in the biennium 2006 2007 and therefore cannot be compared with any of the individual major programmes in the biennium 2004 2005.

In accordance with the programmatic approach, specific resource allocations are presented in the Major Programmes under which the activities are to be implemented.

In this regard, the resources allocated to the programme implementation will be used to some extent to evaluate the Department's major outputs and activities.

Integrated programmes should continue to be one of the Organization's principal tools for the provision of technical assistance.

Key internal guidelines for the preparation of country programmes have been amended to include standards set in the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

98. The budget continues to be divided into 11 parts reflecting broadly the major programmes of the medium term plan.

The main method of checking such compliance is the information gathered as part of programme performance monitoring.

In order to have minimum core capacities in the area of programme coordination and management, it is proposed that the posts of three programme officers in the country offices for Albania, Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation be converted from programme funds to the support budget, thus releasing additional funds for programme implementation.

However, since these new major programmes relate to the provision of substantive technical and global forum services to the beneficiary States, their combined resources are comparable with the total of Major Programmes C, D and E of the programme and budgets, 2004 2005.

The present document follows the overall format introduced in the programme and budget document 1998 1999, and continued in subsequent bienniums to 2004 2005.

On account of the increases for security related requirements and the negative growth operational budget, most major programmes show a reduction.

In the case of Mongolia, UNICEF support to key social sectors would be elevated from the project to programme level.

We continue to disseminate information and materials to our constituents relative to those programs and projects of the United Nations that address our primary concerns.

The Nordic countries endorsed the CPC recommendation (para. 237) that the findings of the programme performance monitoring reports and evaluation processes should be taken into account in the formulation of the programmes as a key element to improve effectiveness.

However, computers initially were not even capable of having multiple programs loaded into the main memory.

It offers 36 major programs, as well as dual degree engineering programs, and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Resource requirements are linked to objectives and expected results of the major programmes following the logical framework approach shown in the figure.

Major family planning programmes included social support programmes, government supplied contraceptive services and sterilization operations.

The Government of National Unity in South Africa is now confronting with great determination the major reconstruction and development programmes that will be required to satisfy their aspirations.

Major Programmes A and B continue to serve the requirements of the governing bodies and the general management of UNIDO. Major Programmes G and H relate to the various elements of the Organization's administration and management of the Vienna International Centre (VIC) complex, respectively. Major Programme I identifies and shows separately all indirect costs and common services in which UNIDO participates.
