Pursuant to Security Council's Resolution 1267 the CSTO Secretariat on the basis of national lists compiled a Catalog of terrorist and extremist organizations in the CSTO member states.

The technical assistance and coordination unit established within the Commission's secretariat in 2005 had begun the process of identifying national and regional needs for technical assistance.

The UNCITRAL Secretariat and members are therefore already familiar with many of the national policy issues connected with director and officer responsibilities and liabilities.

He also explained the election security plan that was developed by the secretariat of the Joint Electoral Management Body in close consultation with national security agencies, the International Security Assistance Force and the coalition forces.

The secretariat of the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction is coordinating strategic guidelines to support national and regional efforts through the Inter Agency Task Force on Disaster Reduction.

The action plan includes the translation of technical documents, a training workshop in one of the lusophone LDC Parties, and the development of a list of Portuguese speaking experts on adaptation to climate change who have knowledge relevant to the NAPA process, and who can be made available to assist lusophone LDC Parties.
