The customs office of Khorramshahr was among the first targets.

The Customs Office and the National Office of Nuclear Energy and Technology have adopted a supplementary agreement concerning measures to be arranged and technical training to be given to customs personnel.

An agreement between the National Office of Nuclear Energy and Technology and the Customs Office is pending approval.

Representatives from immigration, customs, narcotics, and the Attorney General's Office meet regularly.

Likewise, training courses will continue to be provided for officials of the Naval Prefecture and the Customs Office.

The Office of the High Representative, with the European Commission and the EU Customs and Fiscal Assistance Office, invested heavily in ongoing support for the Indirect Taxation Administration.

The Customs Office has been allocated powers under article 1 (b) and (c) of the Customs Code, Decree Law No. 15,691, in particular with regard to the illicit trafficking of nuclear and radioactive material.

Among the recommendations made, paragraph 3 of the resolution assigns the Customs Office the power to intervene in this area.

They are also fitted to the Lockheed P 3 Orion aircraft of U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Office of Air and Marine.

Special operation. The customs expert of the Monitoring Group met with the head of the WCO Regional Intelligence Liaison Office in Nairobi, who said that a special customs operation could be conducted in the regional customs territory with the aim of further enhancing the United Nations arms embargo on Somalia.

Under the agreement between the Customs Office and the National Office of Nuclear Energy and Technology, officials assigned to land border posts, Carrasco Airport and the Port of Montevideo will be provided with appropriate instruments for detecting radioactive materials.

The Customs authorities are conducting customs control, which does not have a special regulation for the religious, benevolent and cultural organizations. That is, the customs bodies undertake customs control regardless of the purpose of the activities of the persons transferring goods across customs borders.
