Basic energy services and industrial goods are urgently needed by billions of impoverished people around the world, as a necessary foundation for achieving socio economic development.

Industrial re deployment might also be the answer to outsourcing by European companies, so we need to build an integrated Euro Mediterranean structure that encourages industrial, agricultural, energy, and job mobility.

The necessary reductions imply a rapid and radical transformation of industrial, energy, and land use systems around the world.

What matters is their output of modern industrial goods (and services), which can expand without limit as long as domestic demand expands simultaneously.

Moreover, as oil consuming countries aim for energy independence, producing countries will try to shield themselves by building energy intensive industries so they can export oil embedded in industrial products.
