Interim financial report for the year ended 31 December 2004

The financial report provides the financial results of UNICEF activities in 2004. Highlights are summarized in the following paragraphs.

The financial statements, which are included in the Interim Report of the External Auditor, Financial Performance Report and Programme Performance Report for the Biennium 2004 2005, have not been audited and no audit opinion is expressed thereon.

Regarding currency transaction report, Central Bank Circular Letter 3098, from June 11th, 2003, established these obligations for financial institutions (banking and non banking financial institutions).
