I have already informed the Security Council of my intention to appoint Victor da Silva Angelo, the current Deputy Special Representative at UNAMSIL, as my Executive Representative for UNIOSIL.

Following the usual consultations, it is my intention to appoint Victor da Silva Angelo, who is currently serving as Deputy Special Representative for Sierra Leone, as my Executive Representative for UNIOSIL.

During the mandate period another women was verified a mandate additionally (when a men representative accepted the executive position), so that now there are four women representatives in this House.

The United Nations integrated office would be headed by my Executive Representative, who would also serve as the UNDP Resident Representative and the United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, in order to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach within the whole United Nations family in Sierra Leone.

A unitary board is comprised of executive and non executive directors.
