On 20 September 2004, a different Trial Chamber Section commenced the Military II trial, in which the Prosecution is presenting its case.

Judges of the second Trial Chamber were appointed by the Secretary General and the Government of Sierra Leone in January 2005, and the third trial began in March 2005.

It involved three accused (Barayagwiza, Nahimana and Ngeze) and was the most voluminous case heard by that Chamber during the second mandate (1999 2003).

Pre Trial Chamber II has recently unsealed the arrest warrants for five senior leaders of the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda on counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes.

Similarly, an Italian court did not rule on the effect of the Second World War on extradition treaties until 1970, and a British court did not assess the effect of the Second World War on the Convention on the Execution of Foreign Arbitral Awards of 1927 until it became an issue in a 1977 case.

We especially welcome the unsealing by Pre Trial Chamber II, on 14 October, of the first five warrants of arrest against senior leaders of the Lord's Resistance Army for crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in Uganda.

You know what it means. A circle, for example, is symmetric under rotations about the center of the circle.
