It is proposed to redeploy one P 4 and three General Service posts to Programme support.

The General Service posts would provide support for the two application support teams, for the local area networks (LANs) and hardware, software and user registration.

The computation of national staff costs is based on the G 3 step IV and NOA I of the national salary scale in effect from 1 May 2004 for national General Service staff and national officers, respectively, reflecting the actual pattern of expenditures during the 2004 05 period and distribution of national staff by grade level.
