At the same meeting, the Council adopted draft decision III recommended by the Commission in chapter I, section C of its report,18 entitled Report of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice on its fourteenth session and provisional agenda and documentation for its fifteenth session .

By 8 November 2004, a total of 93 States had sent responses, on the basis of which the third biennial report of the Executive Director was prepared.

However, in his progress report to the Executive Board in September 2004 (DP 2004 45), the Executive Director noted that the priorities for change would be amended to focus more clearly on the recommendations in the report of the United Nations Board of Auditors.

The decision by the Board, including on the scope of a review and the composition of a review team, shall be made publicly available as part of the report of its meeting.

5.1 The Deputy Executive Secretary is accountable to the Executive Secretary.
