We are encouraged by the ongoing negotiations for an economic partnership agreement with the European Union in the area of fisheries, because this provides an opportunity for a genuine partnership through investment in this sector.

Clearly, both the Bush administration and Congress have recognized this intensifying partnership when they approved the India US Nuclear Agreement.
