(a) Protecting vulnerable marine ecosystems

Protecting the rule of law at the international and national levels and protecting the vulnerable are at the heart of a strong multilateral system.

The Icelandic authorities continue to work on protecting vulnerable marine ecosystems within their national jurisdiction.

Such peacemakers formed part of the thin blue line that protected the peace, providing security, bolstering stability, and protecting vulnerable populations.
