(c) Other income. Other income consists mainly of interest income, gains losses as a result of exchange rate movements and other miscellaneous items.

a) Other income includes interest income and miscellaneous income in the range of 3 million per annum.

Interest and other income of 3.1 million bring to 174.5 million the total income for other resources for 2004.

However, other low income and middle income developing countries also needed special attention.

One key idea was to lighten the tax burden on labor . Taking into account the personal income tax and various social contributions, taxation of labor income in China is too high . To be sure, taxes are needed to finance social spending, but revenue sources other than taxes on labor income could do the job.

Middle income families also insist on buying homes, despite the highest multiple of home price to income among advanced economies and a housing finance system that imposes high borrowing costs.

To finance development projects, poor and lower middle income countries must devise and implement tax strategies to increase domestic revenue.
