The Director of the Office for Outer Space Affairs opened the Meeting.

The Meeting expressed its appreciation to the Office for maintaining the website.

13th meeting The Meeting was opened by Ms. Jane Connors, Treaties and Commission Branch, Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, as the representative of the Secretary General.

The Head of Tbilisi office of UNHCR, the lead United Nations agency on the issue, participated in the meeting.

The Meeting agreed that the focal points of the Meeting should provide the Office with updated information on their space related programmes and activities and the relevant website addresses, as well as on upcoming activities, for posting on the site. The Meeting agreed that the Office for Outer Space Affairs should continue to circulate, among the focal points of the Inter Agency Meeting, quarterly reminders to update the website.

(a) United Nations International Meeting on the Question of Palestine, United Nations Office at Geneva, 8 and 9 March 2005

The last meeting, organized by the United Nations Office for West Africa (UNOWA), was held in Monrovia on 27 October.

The Meeting noted with appreciation the indication that some entities might assist the Office with the translation of the brochure.

To that end, the Meeting agreed that the Office for Outer Space Affairs would revise the outline and text based on the comments received during the meeting and would circulate both among members of the Inter Agency Meeting for their approval.

The Meeting noted that capacity building activities of the Office for Outer Space Affairs in the area of telemedicine offered opportunities for synergies between the objectives of the Office and those of WHO.

At the 14th meeting, on 27 April 2005, the Committee met with representatives of the International Labour Office, in accordance with the special status accorded to the Office by article 74 of the Convention.

The first meeting took place at WHO headquarters in Geneva on 1 October 2004, and the second meeting, on 16 and 17 March 2005, took place at the United Nations Office at Geneva.

The Office continues to support the International Association of Refugee Law Judges, including at its annual meeting in Stockholm in April 2005.

The meeting was opened by the Director of the Division for Treaty Affairs of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

In June, I attended the annual Special Procedures meeting at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.

Comment of the Administration. The Office of the Prosecutor and the Language Services Section are meeting for this purpose at two weekly intervals.

The Meeting noted that the list had been made available on the website of the Office and had already proven valuable and useful.

The participants expressed their appreciation to the Office for Outer Space Affairs for hosting the twenty fifth session of the Inter Agency Meeting.

The Office has continued this practice of consultation, including several meetings with non governmental organizations between 2003 and 2005, and a first meeting with States parties on 20 June 2005 to discuss strategies and activities of the Office.

In that regard, the Meeting agreed that the Office for Outer Space Affairs should clarify the matter with the executive secretariat of the Charter.

As in previous years, a tripartite meeting was held with the Office of Internal Oversight Services and the Board of Auditors of the United Nations.
