The Chairman of the Joint Inspection Unit made a statement.

The overall composition of the secretariat that assists the Joint Inspection Unit remains unchanged and consists of 19 staff members, although the completion of several information technology related projects allowed the redeployment in 2004 of one Information Technology Officer (P 3) as Research Officer (P 3), thus strengthening the research capacity of the Unit.

The Chairman of the Joint Inspection Unit, Mr. Ion Gorita, introduced the report of the Unit (A 60 34).
