Affirms the importance of public health interests in both pharmaceutical and health policies

POLICIES, PROGRAMMES STRATEGIES OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

The National Health Policies define explicitly defines the improvement of health of mothers and children as a key priority.

Each National Health Service has different policies and priorities, resulting in contrasts.

Activists campaign for improved mental health services and for more involvement and empowerment within mental health services, policies and wider society.

Its effects are amplified by declines in mortality and fertility rates, mainly as a result of improved health conditions and population policies in recent years.

The reform of the health system stagnated in recent years, but has now been reactivated by my Government through the strengthening of public policies to improve basic health indicators, as reflected in the latest United Nations Human Development Report.
