As Chair of the Friends of Guinea Bissau at the United Nations, as well as a member of the Ad hoc Advisory Group on Guinea Bissau, my delegation calls for an early convening of a donors conference to show solidarity with the people of Guinea Bissau and a commitment to lasting peace in that country.

Guinea Bissau is also taking advantage of this new private sector led development approach.
