General principle expressed in Section 4 refers to nuclear explosives.

The following posts are proposed for the General Services Section

Two Shipping Assistants, 1 Field Service, and 1 national General Service (redeployed from General Services Section).

The net addition to the General Services Section would be eight.

The staffing for the General Services Section, the Integrated Support Services and the Supply Section includes proposals for new deputy positions.

Therefore, an additional appropriation by the General Assembly of 261,200 would be required under section 2, General Assembly affairs and conference services, and of 4,300 under section 29E, Administration, Geneva.

Therefore, an additional appropriation by the General Assembly of 44,300 dollars will be required under Section 2, General Assembly Affairs and Conference Services, and of 1,400 dollars under Section 29E, Administration, Geneva.

Section 2 General Assembly and Economic and Social Council Affairs and conference management

Therefore, an additional appropriation by the General Assembly of 82,600 dollars will be required under Section 2, General Assembly Affairs and Conference Services of the programme budget and of 1,900 dollars under Section 29E, Administration, Geneva.

This section presents an overview of General Assembly resolutions and selected reports of the Secretary General, other than those in section E above, that included specific recommendations for action on gender equality and the advancement of women.

Therefore, an additional appropriation by the General Assembly of 77,600 dollars will be required under Section 24, Human Rights, of the programme budget, as well as 103,800 dollars under Section 2, General Assembly Affairs and Conference Services, and 3,300 dollars under Section 29E, Administration, Geneva, for the biennium 2004 2005.

The following 24 international and 19 national General Service posts are requested for the Security Section

In paragraphs 2 through 5 of section X of its resolution 59 276, the General Assembly

They fall under section 2, General Assembly and Economic and Social Council affairs and conference management section 9, Economic and social affairs and section 28D, Office of Central Support Services, of the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2006 2007.

However, pursuant to section XI of General Assembly resolution 59 276 of 23 December 2004, the activities relating to security and safety now fall under section 33, Safety and security.

In that section, the General Committee took note of the information contained in paragraphs 2 and 3.

The Participation, Entitlements and Contributions Section comprises 13 posts 3 Professional and 10 General Service (Other level).

The Finance and Information Systems Section comprises 7 posts 2 Professional and 5 General Service (Other level).

Moreover, there are recommendations in the section entitled Freedom from want that seem too general and imprecise.

The action requested of the General Assembly with respect to financing is set out in section III.

The Department comprises the Protection Operations Support Section, Protection Policy and Legal Advice Section, Protection Capacity Section, Resettlement Section and Protection Information Section.

Section VIII of resolution 59 134 B is specifically devoted to Pitcairn and states that the General Assembly
