The Board is a disciplinary body that determines disputes between insurance companies and the insured.

The Code authorizes prison governors to discipline any prisoner who breaches prison rules and regulations that were issued in accordance with the Code and its implementing regulation. Disciplinary measures include solitary confinement for a period of up to two weeks (article 34 of the Prisons Act).

Failure to observe these strict standards of conduct renders the perpetrators liable to disciplinary action for serious misconduct as defined in section III of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations Directives for Disciplinary Matters Involving Military Members of National Contingents.

As a consequence of these incidents the author was on several occasions subjected to disciplinary measures.
