Engaging the community requires an investment on the part of Governments to educate the public through awareness raising campaigns.

That was why the international community needed to adopt specific and targeted measures to help improve the investment climate in this continent.

Discussions on investment issues with representatives of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) were held on two occasions in Brussels and Gaborone.

But it also requires a global investment community public, private, and mixed that can move beyond short term thinking, ideological bias, ignorance, and cynicism.

At the same time, the Roll Back Malaria Partnership has recently launched a long term Global Action Plan to unify the actions of the malaria community and spur additional investment.
