(b) Organize a one day workshop symposium on disaster management involving communication meteorological satellite operators

A two day follow up workshop took place in April 2005 to review subsequent progress.

A three day joint technical workshop was to be held with IAEA in 2006 to discuss potential new safety standards.

Moreover, a three day Common Country Assessment and United Nations Development Assistance Framework workshop was held in Monrovia on 27 September.

At its next session, it planned to hold a one day workshop on disaster management, involving communication and meteorological satellite operators.
