Since its establishment in 2001, the CRIC has met twice at sessions held between ordinary sessions of the COP (CRIC 1, which took place in Rome, Italy from 11 to 22 November 2002 and CRIC 3, which took place in Bonn, Germany from 2 to 11 May 2005) and once during a COP sessions (CRIC 2, which took place during the sixth session of the COP in Havana, Cuba from 26 to 29 August 2003).
