The approach taken by the Global Partnership on Forest Landscape Restoration during 2003 2005 provides a model for the way it has reached out to and engaged people at all levels, facilitated networking, provided a bridge between the local and global levels, and facilitated the translation of views across different levels.

Since its establishment in 2001, the CRIC has met twice at sessions held between ordinary sessions of the COP (CRIC 1, which took place in Rome, Italy from 11 to 22 November 2002 and CRIC 3, which took place in Bonn, Germany from 2 to 11 May 2005) and once during a COP sessions (CRIC 2, which took place during the sixth session of the COP in Havana, Cuba from 26 to 29 August 2003).

So let me talk a little bit about the courses that we have.

Observers have participated in all formal sessions as well as in the inter sessional informal briefings and consultations.

The Administration clarified that the course evaluations (including the number of participants, date and location) not received after completion of the training courses were not recorded in the summary list.

Sessions of the Committee shall be convened at dates decided by the Council in consultation with the Secretary General of the United Nations (hereinafter referred to as the Secretary General ).

The Committee shall normally hold three regular sessions each year.

Special sessions of the Committee shall be convened by decision of the Committee.

The Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (hereinafter referred to as the Committee ), established under the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (hereinafter referred to as the Convention ), shall hold two regular sessions each year.

The Committee shall hold such regular sessions each year as shall be authorized by the States parties to the Convention.

Special sessions of the Committee shall be convened by decision of the Committee or at the request of a State party to the Convention.
