What We Owe Egypt

We condemn the use of violence.

We owe it to our citizens.

It was not enough to condemn human rights violations.

We condemn the use of violence for the implementation of political aims.

We condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

We condemn the perpetrators of that heinous act.

We also condemn terrorism in all its forms.

The least we owe to the Egyptian people is to stop supporting their repression.

Today we owe a particular debt to Minister Pahad and to President Mbeki.

We in Botswana condemn terrorism in all its manifestations.

We condemn the recent attacks in Afghanistan.

On the political side, however, the two countries were not evenly matched.

We have consistently condemned attacks that target innocent Israelis.

We strongly condemn that inhuman and barbaric killing of an innocent person.

The first is the debt we owe to the Cassese Commission for making it possible for us to reach this point.

It is my judgement that we owe a status report to those who earnestly wanted to witness the rise of Somalia from the ashes.

It is a challenge we must meet if we are to fulfil our responsibilities to those who are most vulnerable and to whom we owe the highest duty of care.

There are undoubtedly colossal problems in Detroit, and the bosses of the Big Three automakers could never be convicted of an excess of imagination.

The responsibility for halting violence is incumbent not on one party alone, but on both.

We are convinced that the African Union can satisfy the requirements for peace without sacrificing the requirement of justice that we all owe the victims.

In response I pointed out that we condemn mothers who cause harm to their babies by using alcohol or cocaine when pregnant.

When we condemn the behavior of a politician, celebrity, or friend, we often end up appealing to our moral intuitions.

We therefore firmly and unequivocally condemn any form of support, either direct or indirect, to terrorist organizations.

It felt like nothing. It has to feel like nothing.

81. We strongly condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, committed by whomever, wherever and for whatever purposes, as it constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.

Not only do we resolutely condemn acts of terrorism worldwide we are also implementing specific legislative and practical measures to fight this scourge and prevent its spread.
