(j) Pursue its efforts in relation to the implementation of the road map, in particular the withdrawal of its military presence within OPT and the occupied Syrian Golan.

We urge both sides to continue to create, on the basis of and in compliance with the road map, the necessary environment that would enable negotiations to take place.

We believe that the road map holds the key to a positive outcome on the matter and urge the Quartet to continue its efforts to bridge the differences between the parties.

No less importantly, this briefing meeting should also signal to the Sudanese parties the expectations of the Security Council and the international community that they should continue to stay the course towards the speedy conclusion of the few outstanding issues, and thereby pave the way for a start on the implementation modalities.

The Quartet deems it necessary to ensure continued efforts aimed at full implementation of the Roadmap following Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and parts of the northern West Bank.

In addition, Israel's continuing illegal settlement campaign, along with its unlawful construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, is gravely undermining the prospects for achieving the two State solution in accordance with the road map.

The old route to the bridge is now called Chain of Rocks Road and ends near Roman Road.

(d) Encourage the members of the Quartet to further implement the road map in such a way as to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting settlement of the conflict, based on relevant United Nations resolutions, including Security Council resolutions
